Jeanne grew up in a small town west of Chicago called DeKalb, Illinois. After graduating valedictorian of her public high school class, she went on to major in English at the University of Iowa. An honors graduate from Iowa, Jeanne then enrolled at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary.
Jeanne excelled in law school, participating in a prestigious moot court competition dealing with International Law. She was also a student assistant to Professor Neal Devins, a constitutional law scholar. During her work for Professor Devins, Jeanne had an opportunity to work on a current edition of a published constitutional law treatise.
After graduating from law school, Jeanne passed the Georgia Bar and worked for the Hon. Richard [Stan] Gault in Forsyth County, Georgia, where she learned how to evaluate and analyze domestic cases, including contested and uncontested divorces, adoptions, family violence petitions, and related family law issues. Upon completing her clerkship with Judge Gault, Jeanne became associated with what was then known as Banks, Stubbs & Neville, in Cumming, and ultimately became of counsel with that firm. Throughout her career, she has continued to develop her practice in all areas of family law.
Jeanne has litigated numerous domestic cases involving complex issues, including international custody and adoption, hotly contested substantial asset divorce cases, and many other types of family law cases. She brings a wealth of experience in this specialized area to The Law Offices of Josh Sacks, P.C., where she will continue to zealously represent individuals and families in her comprehensive domestic practice.
